What the logo represents
LHF Logo holds a special meaning to our foundation. The color scheme of royal blue and black is represented in the colors of Lauren’s wheelchair.

“I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness. Isaiah 61: 10
This chair plays such a significant role in our family, because it is Lauren’s access to the world. Lauren goes everywhere we go. This chair represents her comfort zone. As her physical abilities weaken, her wheelchair provides the support necessary to make her comfortable. Without this chair, life would be very difficult for our entire family.

Lauren’s profile represents all Sanfilippo children. Her face is one of many who battle this disease on a daily basis. It is with respect and admiration that we honor these children and their families.

“I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.” Psalms 116: 1-2

“I have put my HOPE in your word.” Psalms 119: 114

Blessed is the man who preserveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” James 1: 12

The star is the essential key to everything that we hold dear. It symbolizes the star shown over Bethlehem at Christ’s birth. This star is a constant reminder of who is directing this foundation. It is our prayer and deep desire to seek God’s will with all matters of the foundation. This star is the source for the name “Lauren’s Hope.” Our faith in God’s love and grace is truly where “Lauren’s Hope” resides. Lauren’s HOPE for the future is assured through Christ’s death and resurrection.

“When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the HOPE of eternal life.” Titus 3: 4-7.
