The Story
Lauren's Hope is a place where you can find the love and support you need during an unplanned pregnancy. My name is Jessica Blackburn, and when I was 17 years old, I was faced with an unplanned pregnancy. My daughter Lauren was born, and I placed her for adoption. At the time, I was fortunate to have an incredible support system in my family. They provided a safe and caring environment for me and I was not alone on that journey. I understand that is not the case for most young women and men. I understand the challenges they face and with the creation of Lauren's Hope I aim to provide the same love, and support in a safe and caring environment for those that seek it. You do not have to be alone, We are here to help you every step of the way.
Mission
Our mission is to reach out to those in need in our community and provide support to young women and men as they face unplanned pregnancy. We believe that everyone deserves access to the resources and care they need during this challenging time. Our goal is to create a safe welcoming environment where individuals can receive the support and guidance they need to make informed decisions about their future. We provide pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling and parenting support.
Vision
We want a world where women are supported and loved, and where an unplanned pregnancy does not have to be faced alone. Where women have access to resources and support systems that help them make informed decisions about their bodies and their futures. Where they can be empowered to choose the path that is right for them. With love and support, women can navigate the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy and emerge stronger and more resilient than ever. Along with the services we currently offer we hope to provide free ultrasounds, and STD testing in the near future.
